ATLEAST twelve international coaches have submitted their applications for Rayon Sports’ head coach job just ten days after the offer was put on market. Surprisingly, no local coach appears on the application list of 12.

Notable among the applicants is French-born mentor David Guguit, a former coach of Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby back in France at CM Aubervillier.

The 2013 champions, Rayon have been under tutelage of Thierry Hitimana and Billy Musa Kombi, who took over on a temporary basis after Luc Eymael terminated his contract in May.

The application deadline is June 25, while the new coach of the team will be announced a week later, according to club officials.

Rayon Sports started search for a new coach, a few days after being kicked out of the Peace Cup competition on hands of arch rivals APR.

The blues suffered a 2-1 defeat to APR in the quarter final last month, a feat which forced the blues to issue an immediate search for a professional head coach.

The blues are currently under the tutelage of Thierry Hitimana and Musa Kombi Billy who took over temporarily from Belgium national, Luc Eymael who terminated his contract with Rayon sport after being slapped an eight-man ban.
