Striker Jerome Sina bagged a hat trick as Police sunk Bugesera 5-0 in the knock out stage of the Peace Cup tournament.

Imran Nshimiyimana and Kipson Atuheire scored the other goals to help Police sail to the next round.

In other matches, APR beat Akagera 1-0 courtesy of Barnabe Mubumbyi and Sulaiman Kakira goals in Rwamagana while Mukura registered a 3-0 win over Vision J. N in Muhanga.

SEC eliminated top flight club Marines with a 4-1 win’ Esperance beat Vision FC 1-0 as Amagaju thrashed United Stars 6-0 respectively.

Defending champions AS Kigali will not face their opponents Rwamagana due to their engagement in Caf Confederation Cup where they will face Morocco’s Diffa El Jadida in the 1/8th round this weekend.

The game has been pushed to a yet to be known date.

Sixteen clubs will advance to the 1/8th round and the winner in the finals will represent the country in the 2015 Caf Confederation Cup. The final will be played on July 4.

Last year, AS Kigali beat AS Muhanga 3-0 to lift the title.
