The National University of Rwanda lost 1 game this weekend to add to its woes in group C fixtures in the National volleyball league. NUR lost to UNATEK 3 sets to 1 before beating KIE 3 sets to 0. It was a result that put the University in 3rd place in the league table, a result that is not as impressive given the history and the success the campus team has enjoyed in the recent past.

In the same group UNATEK beat KIE 3 sets to 1 to occupy 4th place in the table.

In group A, APR continued their domination when they saw off both KVC and ST. JOSEPH 3 sets to 0 each, while KVC mounted their revenge on ST. JOSEPH by thrashing them 3 sets to 0 as well.

LYCÉE DE NYANZA on the other hand swept away both GROUPE SCOLAIRE and CHRIST LOI 3 sets each to cement their dominance in group B. In the same group CHRIST LOI beat GROUPE SCOLARE 3 sets to 0.

In the women’s fray, RRA beat RUHANGO and NYANZA 3 sets to 0, while RUHANGO won all the three sets to nil against NYANZA in group A.
